We are so excited that live services are back in all our locations. We're grateful for the technology that has kept us connected during this time of lockdown but there's really nothing like being in the room with your church family, we can't wait for you to be with us!
On this page you'll find the link to book your tickets, information about how ticketing will work, FAQ's and information about the measures we're taking to keep you, your family and our volunteers safe as we gather again in our buildings.
WHAT SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE TO BOOK?
Warner, Redcliffe and Morayfield have morning services at 9.30am available to book. If you're a young adult (18-35 years old) there is a 6PM service at Warner available for you to book and we'd ask that you watch the morning service online as normal and book the 6PM to allow space for families to attend the morning services.
HOW DO I BOOK TICKETS?
From today you will be able to book tickets for next Sunday's services. The ticketing is through Eventbrite as we've successfully used this system before for Christmas and Easter events. Each location will have an allotted number of tickets in line with social distancing protocols for the venue. Once these tickets have been booked a waitlist will automatically begin for the service and if tickets are returned you will be notified, allowing you to book. When you book you'll be asked for contact information and to complete a health declaration so that the process on Sunday mornings is quicker for everyone.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I ARRIVE AT CHURCH?
When you arrive at church there will be a check in process for everyone. This should be quick and simple as you'll have completed your health declarations and contact information when you booked your tickets, we'll just be checking that the information hasn't changed.
WILL THERE BE COMMUNION?
Yes, individually pre-packaged communion will be available for you to collect at each location's check in as you arrive.
WILL THERE BE AN OFFERING?
We're encouraging everyone to continue to give online as you have been doing during lockdown whilst restrictions are still in place.
CAN MY FAMILY SIT TOGETHER?
Yes, if you book tickets for all your family members then you will be able to sit together inline with the guidance given by the Queensland government. Your seats won't be reserved for you though so if you've a particularly large group please leave plenty of time to check in and choose your seats.
WILL THERE BE SOCIAL DISTANCING?
Yes, we encourage everyone to continue to social distance and there will be distancing measures at all our locations to help keep us all safe and healthy.
WILL THE CAFES BE OPEN?
We know how much the after church coffee and chat has been missed by everyone. During this time we will be providing free barista made coffee as well as a pre-packaged morning tea for everyone after the service in our open space areas. This allows us to connect safely with social distancing measures in place.
IS THERE KIDS CHURCH PROVISION?
Yes! There's full kids provision at all of our locations.
I MISSED OUT ON TICKETS, WHAT HAPPENS NOW?
We're so glad you want to come to the live services! We encourage you to come back here to try again as tickets are sometimes returned during the week. In the meantime though continue to watch Church From Home which will still be running at the same time of 9.30am on the Sunday morning.
CAN I COME TO MULTIPLE SERVICES?
We're encouraging everyone who calls Emerge Church their home to make the effort to come one live service over the next month. We do want everyone to be able to experience a live service so we ask that if you've been able to book tickets for a week then you watch from home for the other Sundays to allow everyone the chance to attend including people who may never have come to a live service at Emerge after finding us online during the lockdown.
I'M NOT ABLE TO COME BACK TO CHURCH YET, IS CHURCH FROM HOME STILL HAPPENING?
Yes! We know that there are lots of reasons why you may not be able to gather with us at the moment. The Church From Home livestreams will still be happening at the same time and through the same channels as normal. There will be a Pastor available in the chat and the preach will be the same for live and Church From Home services.
WHAT SAFETY PROCEDURES ARE IN PLACE?
We have increased our cleaning at all locations and we encourage everyone to use hand sanitiser as you check in and leave the building. High traffic areas such as door handles, light switches, work surfaces, toilets etc. will be cleaned before and after each service by our team. We're using contact information, social distancing and room limit measures at all services and have a comprehensive Covid plan that our teams have been trained on and are working to.
I'VE BOOKED TICKETS BUT AM NOW UNABLE TO COME, WHAT DO I DO?
If your circumstances have changed and you no longer need your tickets please use the Eventbrite system for returning tickets so that someone on the waitlist is able to book their tickets.
DO I NEED TO BRING MY EVENTBRITE TICKET WITH ME ON THE DAY?
We will have a print out of everyone who has registered tickets and will be using this for check in so you don't need to bring a physical ticket with you.
I DON'T HAVE COVID BUT I'M SICK, CAN I STILL ATTEND A SERVICE IN PERSON?
We encourage you to stay at home if you are sick, even if it's just a cough or a sniffle. You can still be part of the service by watching Church From Home as you normally would do but from home you're helping stop the spread of coughs and colds.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I START TO FEEL ILL DURING A SERVICE?
Just let one of the team know and we will assist you in any way we can.
I CAN'T BOOK TICKETS ONLINE, CAN SOMEONE HELP ME?
If you need help booking tickets or have any enquiries please call our offices on (07) 3264 5805 and one of our friendly team will help you with the process.
