Emerge Bible College partnership with Futures Church
Hi there.
Thanks so much for checking out our exciting new Bible College for Emerge Church. We are partnering with Futures Church to provide their Diploma of Leadership & Church Planting. This is a new initiative, never done before at Emerge Church. As with all pioneering endeavours there may be some teething problems but we will be able to overcome these together.

This will provide you with the full details of the course, fees, purpose, subjects, electives and ministry requirements for the college.
In addition to the 3 ways to engage in this course, we will be offering a fourth way, in-house only, where you will be able to participate in a 1 hour bible study across a term.

Fees
Due to our collaboration with Futures Church, we have received a very generous discount as an Emerge Scholarship - of $6000 for the full diploma.
You also have the option to include a trip to Adelaide and participate in the mid-year intensive by choosing option 2 in the prospectus. This will still be covered by Fee–help if you decide to access Fee-help. The total cost for this option is an Emerge Scholarship - of $7760.
You can also pay for your subjects up front each semester, or access Fee–help.
In-House Study Only Option Fees
In addition to these 2 options, Emerge Church will be offering the full diploma as a non-accredited course at a cost of $1500. You will receive no recognition for this as no assessments or assignments or hours of service will be required. This is a knowledge and experience gaining option only and you’ll be a part of the group of students participating in the college.
Schedule
Attached to this email is the subject calendar for 2026.
We will be running the college subjects on Tuesday nights in the locations, depending on the number of students that apply. Alternatively, you’ll be able to access the content online in your own time. Either way the assignments will be due at the same time.
Regardless of whether you are going to study at church on Tuesday nights or at home online in your own time, we will start each term with an in-person night so that all students can meet each other and have a chance to ask the team any questions you may have. This will then help you to know who else is studying in your campus, so that you can be a support to each other.
These nights will be:
- Tuesday 24th Feb
- Tuesday 28th Apr
- Tuesday 4th Aug
- Tuesday 6th Oct
Note, the intensive for Personal Leadership is 19-21 Feb and is held at the Leadership Summit at Futures Church in Adelaide. The alternative to complete this subject will be online material and assignment running parallel to the other subjects from 24 Feb - 31 Mar.
Please note that our second intensive, which will be included in the intensive option, will be mid-year but we are still yet to determine the specific dates.
Enrolment Process
- Please complete the application form via the link below.
- Futures College will then send this info to AlphaCrucis to get students enrolled as Futures College Students.
- You will then receive MOODLE access and be able to begin your course accordingly.

ENROLMENT MUST BE COMPLETED BY: Feb 20th.
CENSUS DATE TO PULL OUT IS: Feb 17th. There will be no penalty if you pull out by this date.
Academics
Futures Church College has a marking team who assess all the students but also can provide ongoing academic support and give feedback to you on how you are tracking. This is a great support and should be accessed if you need it at all.
