Awesome! You can look over the various roles available before filling out the form! This is not an exhaustive list so please don't worry that you don't see a place that you can fit...EVERYONE has a place here and role to fulfil!

NOTE: There is no lower age limit set to volunteer but all volunteers are at the discretion of Emerge Church, some roles may not be suitable, and under 18s must have a completed permission form submitted and be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Buddy Team (60+ needed)

For ages 18+. You will be paired with one individual who has special needs for the night to dance, take part in activities, and enjoy the event together. 

Registration Table

All ages. You will be responsible for handling guest registration, handing out name tags, and ensuring we have their registration information and liability waivers.

Paparazzi (50+ needed)

All ages. You’ll welcome our guests as they walk the red carpet with cheers and photo flashes. Alongside our professional photographers/videographers on the night all members of the 'paparazzi' are asked to bring a flash camera or flash on a smartphone to give this experience a real red carpet feel. Additionally, you will act as our 'cheering section' as our guests sing karaoke and provide a party atmosphere throughout the night.

Parking Lot Attendant/Parking Attendant

Direct traffic the night of the event. 

Other areas:

Set Up/Pack Down, Catering, hair/makeup, flowers, shoe shine, limo/fancy car driver, etc, etc

You’re flexible and willing to be placed in an area where you'll be needed and can make an impact! 

When do I arrive?

Most Volunteers are to report at Emerge Church, to Ps Neil, at 5 PM on the day of the event (Saturday, Feb 08).  Some volunteers will be part of the main setup team and will have a different arrival time on the day...this will be communicated to you before the day.

We’ll have you sign in and then help you find your appropriate area. 

*We understand that some may not be able to be there this early due to work. Please try to make it as soon as you can. 

What do I wear?

Buddies: 

We ask that our buddies wear appropriate formal attire.

All other volunteers: 

All other volunteer areas, please dress smart casual. A change of clothing might be useful if you are part of the kitchen, setup or pack down teams.

FORMS

If you are under the age of 18, a permission slip signed by your parent/guardian is required to volunteer and you must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
