When you have lost a loved one, suffered a miscarriage, experienced the death of a child, friend, family member or someone in your world then the holidays can be even more difficult. The pressure to be happy and put a brave face on can be overwhelming and the busyness of the season makes it hard to journey through grief and loss.

We've created a one hour Service of Remembrance so that this Christmas time you can take a moment, pause, remember and grieve your loss. It doesn't matter whether this is your first Christmas without someone, whether anyone is even aware of your loss or whether you're grieving a family member who passed away a long time ago ... all are welcome.

It's happening on Tuesday 17th December from 7pm - 8pm at Emerge Church Warner. The service is one hour long and will have songs, moments of reflection and time for you to pause and remember the person/people you have lost. Each family unit attending will receive a gift pack to bring hope to you through the holidays and there will be a light supper after the service. Everyone is welcome and it would be our honour to host you and your family this Christmas time.

When you register, one of the team will be in touch to arrange a photo of your loved one that will be displayed during the service. This is an optional inclusion, you are not required to participate in this, but we have found it to be one of the most memorable and powerful moments during the service.

IS THERE PARKING ON SITE?

Yes there is plenty of onsite parking including accessible parking.

WILL THERE BE KIDS PROVISION?

There won't be kids provision during the service, but we encourage the whole family to come. There is a parent's room with video and audio onsite if required.

DO I HAVE TO BE A CHRISTIAN TO COME?

No. Everyone is welcome to attend.

WILL IT BE LIVE STREAMED?

We will only live stream the service if the seating capacity is reached. 

We would also love to invite you to our Christmas Eve Services, taking place at Emerge Redcliffe & Morayfield from 6pm - 7pm on the 24th Dec.

There is also a Christmas Day service at Emerge Warner 9-10am.
