Bernie & Rita Klar are passionate about Marriage and think that one way for married and engaged couples to 'follow Jesus' is in the area of their marriages.

So, the Church will be hosting, online, the Ps Tim Ross "Upset the Vows" marriage series and we'd like to invite all married and engaged couples to take part.

It'll be like a date night, but with a difference - a date night in - at home - each week from 10th July - learning from God and His word and seeing what He makes us into. Pastor Tim has some wonderful insights and practical ideas for marriage which fit right in with our theme of following Jesus.

The series began on Wednesday 10 July at 7:15 PM for a 7:30 start, running till about 8:45 or 9 each week.

We encourage you to really set up for your date night in - for example, plan to get the children fed and off to bed early, setting the scene with hot chocolate and other date night goodies. If your children are older, let them know that this is a special time for your relationship.

There will be session notes and extra activities sent out to you via email.

Also, as mentioned on Wednesday night, the course is 9 sessions with 1 of those being a little long for 1 night, so we’re going to do 10 weekly sessions all told.

There’ll be a break after session 6 on 14 August until session 7 starts on 2 October to allow for some time to take in and apply the content from those initial session and allow for the school holidays in September.

So, the update on the course dates is:-

Part 1 finishes with Session # 6 on 14th August.

Group Date Night Out - 7th September.

Part 2 starts with Session # 7 on 2nd October and finishes 23 October.
