BLUE CARD SIGN UP PROCESS
If you don't have a blue card, you'll need to get one before you can start to serve. This is a legal requirement and helps keep you and those we serve safe.
Follow these steps:
- Head to: https://my.bluecard.qld.gov.au/login and follow the prompts to sign in.
- Give your id number to your department leader or contact the church office on 3264 5805. We will need the number and your D.O.B. We will then link you to our organisation which will then trigger a notification to be sent to you to complete your application and/or renewal.
- Complete your application and/or renewal.
- Once completed and you've received your card, you will need to provide a copy of the details
(If you need support completing this, please talk to the person who is signing you up to serve or contact the church office on 3264 5805)
SAFER CHURCHES TRAINING
This training is required by all volunteers who serve in any capacity in our church. This is a legal requirement and helps keep you and those we serve safe. This is required to be done every 3 years.

ELVANTO
Elvanto is our church database and it is also where we roster the roles for serving.
Your department leader will set you up with an Elvanto log in with the email address you supplied when you completed your sign up to serve application form.

You can view your roster, accept your roster and submit unavailability.

From welcoming guests to teaching kids, parking cars to mopping floors, there's a team waiting for you to find your fit. We're passionate about every person in Emerge Church finding a team that they love serving with, expressing the unique gifting that God has placed in you. Check out a few of the areas you can serve in.
Youth / Young Adults - vibrant, thriving and growing ministries that have multiple areas for serving.
Kids Church - full programs that teach our kids how to be amazing human beings by following God.
Seniors - weekly programs across all locations including worship, teaching and fellowship.
Service / Host - the nuts and bolts running of our weekend services or being able to provide the best experience for first time guests...these are the teams for you. Putting the best foot forward for EVERYONE who comes to a weekend service or event at Emerge Church...the host & service team are the first face anyone sees when they come to church.
Cafe - from baristas to cleaners and everything in between. Training is provided.
Hospitality - being able to allow each person to feel welcomed and at home when they come to Emerge Church.
Creative - our worship (singers and musicians) and production (visual media, sound, lights, cameras) are always expanding. Creative also includes photography, social media, graphic design, web design, dance, art, and much much more.
There are so many areas within the creative team that we would love to have you involved.
